This & That~

I do realize I did special posts about Landen and Mikayla
and not Zachary.  It is in the works and there's a lot to brag about, but June is a super busy month for us.  We have 5 family birthdays and Father's day.  Plus, Kelly & Kefri are coming for a visit from Singapore!!!!!

He told me that he made a rainbow fan and then he posed like that.=)
The kids are doing 2-3 camps each this month, so the Christine Thiesen cab service is busier than ever.  I still think it has been less hectic than during school.  We've already done a bunch of stuff from our summer bucket list.  Like get ice cream, go see Madagascar 3, get an abscess on our gums, and slip on a puddle by the pool.  But don't worry everyone is fine now.  My kids like to make things interesting for me.
Me and Z on my b-day.  What do think of my new glasses?  Cool nerd or mad scientist?

The fog coming over the mountains on the way to Malibu for my birthday dinner!  Hello June gloom.

Our view at dinner or "photo."
There was an event in our town where they had every kind of truck imaginable and Landen was in 7th heaven!  All he cared about was seeing that trash truck!

He got to see fire trucks, which is his second fave, plus tow trucks and buses.
Cutest lumberjack ever!

Our little construction worker!  38.5 inches tall and 33.5lbs. just for the record.

More from Father's day

Tomorrow is Mikayla's birthday, my baby girl is going to be 12!  Lots of busy, fun days ahead, so hopefully I'll have time to blog a little about it.

Family Party~

Landen has been asking for months when his cousins will be coming to his house for his birthday.  He asks, " Cousins be home soon, any minute?  Come to Wanden's house?"  So he got his birthday wish and we had a party at Papa's house with all his cousins!
Crazy big strawberry!

Helping Papa move stuff around the pool.  If he had to back up he would say, "BEEP BEEP!"

He said he was rowing.

Birthday Boy & Girl, June 7th & June 5th

Having literally 20 people sing to him was a little overwhelming!

He has been asking for a racecar cake for months!

The candle was from Zach's 5th Birthday.

He got tons of fun presents!

With Natalie and Tipsy Taco!

A sneak peak of Bryson's Senior pics that I took for his grad announcements!

Cameron, Grammie, & Mikayla
I've always thought these 3 look a lot alike.

Landen, how old are you!?!

He had the best day and has been talking about his party at Papa's house all week!

More Birthday Fun~

On Landen's actual birthday we took him to Red Robin for his birthday dinner and afterward got some vanilla frozen yogurt with strawberries and blackberries(his choice) and he loved it!  Finally a sweet treat he likes!
Our big three year old!

He loves his sissy and brobro soooo much!
He got a Busytown fire hydrant water bottle and loved it!
He also got a new Mater and Cars fire engine.  Mikayla and Zach are so sweet with him and really enjoy helping him open presents.

Posing with his new toys!
He ran right upstairs and got busy towing his cars around.  Such a funny little guy!
This was from the day after, but it was so sweet.  Brobro reading "Zack's Alligator" to Landen.  Such a sweet moment!

Last day of two~

Last night we had a Kings party and Mikayla made brownies(all by herself!) and so we decided to practice singing to our birthday boy the day before his actual birthday.
Looking to daddy to see if it's ok to blow out the candle now.

So proud of himself!
We are off today to ride the choo choo train at the mall and have a special lunch.  Can't believe my baby is three!!!  Just for the record he did not like the brownie.  He kept taking these fake little bites like it was something really gross.  We might just have to do something with berries.

Pops~

Mikayla had an end of the year Pops Concert at school.  While we were waiting in the car before the show this little hummingbird was sitting on the tip of this rose right in front of our car.
As usual she did a great job.  Since she was in preschool she was always the most animated one.  Even her preschool teacher commented that that is even how she practices.
It is always so enjoyable to watch her!
Our 5'5.5" back row girl.

She really enjoyed being in Intermediate Choir this year and tried out for Advanced Vocal Ensemble for next year.  We feel so blessed that she has all these wonderful programs to choose from.  Now to brag a little more on my girl I have to say that she was chosen twice this year to have a prospective student shadow her during her morning classes.  The person in charge of scheduling the shadows said that they think Mikayla represents the school well.  We are so proud of our girl!
