Last Day of School!

What!? The last day already! Yep! This school year has flown by, but they both had a great year!

We celebrated by going out for dinner and dessert and then letting the kids stay up late and play until dark! Mikayla got straight A's on her report card, Top History Student, and the Esther Award for Obedience! We are so proud!
So sweet, Daddy helping Mikayla rollerblade.
Daddy having fun, too!
Zach, trying to give me a heartattack! But he loves it! Zach got all staright A's on his report card!
Me and my girl (and boy) at 38 weeks!
I think it looks like baby "dropped" this week??

Memorial Day~

Bloglines just deleted my whole Memorial day post so here is a modified version. I am way too pregnant to rewrite the whole thing! They picked these outfits out themselves and there is a romper for baby to match! Obviously they are for 4th of July but they just couldn't wait. I think they are finally understanding the meaning of Memorial day a little better this year.Mikayla and I got pedicures, Daddy made yummy steak kabobs, and we all had a wonderful day! Monday was rainy, so this was actually Sunday.Zach and his "grab-nabber" That is what he has always called it.
37 weeks!

Typed by Zachary -- "This pregnancy is going so fast!
I can not believe that were having a boy!"

I can't believe how this pregnancy has just flown by! (Above pic at 9 weeks, below last week at 37 weeks)

All in one~

Bloglines hasn't been letting me post much lately so I feel I need to play catch up before our little guy makes his appearance. Zach had a weather play for his explorers class last week. He got offered the lead part but declined because he says he has stage fright. He really loved the part he chose(the teacher suggested parts, but ultimately let them choose) and he seemed to have a lot of fun.

His Explorers teacher Mrs. Heath.
I am about 36 weeks here.

This was posted outside his classroom and I thought it was so funny!
Daddy decided he really wanted to paint baby's room before he is born so here is a before and after.

It's kind of a gray-blue color. I love it! We also have the crib now!
Mikayla is always creating something and I try to take pictures of the things she leaves lying around because I just love her art! Here's some things she has created lately.

A dress she created from her design kit. She hand glued these sequins on herself. She has such patience with her art. That patience doesn't seem to transfer to her brother.

All the Mother's day artwork she brought home from school.
A few weeks back Mikayla's class got to go to the Zoo as a finale to their animal reports. She was so brave that day and touched several animals! I think this was either a goat or a pig.

A shark!

She absolutely fell in love with this goat. He just stood there for the longest time. She said she wished she could take him home! This is just so rare for her, I think seeing her friends touch all the animals helped.

Two new baby bears.

Meerkats

This past weekend Jeff and Zach went to go watch the qualifing races for the Indy 500. They have done this the past few years and it is a great way to see all the drivers and get the experience of the race without actually battling the crowds and paying the insane price for tickets. Jeff didn't take any pictures, but he got some video of Zach sitting in a National guard helicopter that I hope to try and download soon. So instead I thought I would post these pictures from last month when we all went to the track and Hall of Fame museum.

Look! It's Danica Patrick!

We got to take a very slow bus ride around the track. Which I thought was pretty cool. Mikayla was not thrilled but in the end we all had fun and now we can say we did it.

The Pagoda.

Can't really see them, but there are still tire marks from the infamous Danica Patrick scuffle on the track.

So now I am finally caught up!

Happy Mother's Day!

I got invited to a Mother's Tea at Mikayla's classroom last Friday! She made me about 10 beautiful pictures/poems and we had lots of yummy treats! She was so sweet, she kept hugging me the whole time. The best Mother's day present I could ask for!
Mikayla reading her Mother's Day dedication. "If my mother was an animal she would be a bear because she likes to sleep!" We all had a good laugh over that one!

35 weeks with some beautiful Mother's Day flowers in the shot.

Then on Saturday we all got to go see Zach's first baseball game. He did great! Got some great hits and got 3 kids out.Of course he is wearing underwear! A good mother would never let her children leave the house without them!
More beautiful flowers!

Jeff and the kids made me a yummy breakfast in bed yesterday. Oatmeal(one of the only non-dairy breakfasts I can eat now) dressed up with lots of berries, watermelon-which I have been craving this whole pregnancy, turkey bacon, and oj. They gave me beautiful cards and some post pregnancy outfits I had requested(all organic cotton!).

We enjoyed lounging around the house most of the day with a little shopping in the afternoon. I never did get the family pic I was hoping for so here are some fun pictures from last week.

They were watching a squirrel in our neighbor's yard and she just put her arm on his shoulder for a second. It is so precious I just want to cry!
