She loves it when I sing "My Girl" to her.
She hates it when I take her picture.

She's still scared of dogs.

Mikayla's 7th Birthday Party!

The party was actually on June 25th.

I kept telling her it was a fashion diva party, but she didn't like that. She picked her theme all by herself and it really captures her personality.

She had it at this place called Recreation Unlimited and they have swing sets everywhere. Everyone had a blast!

He waited patiently for about 20 minutes before one came close enough for him to touch. Mikayla spent the time begging me to leave! She did not want to touch a shark!
He really did touch 2 sharks, my camera phone just wasn't fast enough.

Our impromtu trip to the zoo last week!

This was the second time we accidentally went on "Community Day" and the parking lot was full. Thankfully, this time we didn't arrive until about 3:15pm when everyone was leaving. We had a good 2 hours of sweating in the heat and seeing some animals.
$2.50 for that bottle of water!! Not a drop was wasted.

They are both riding really well now! Mikayla really took off yesterday and Zachary now has a repertoire of tricks. He can stand up and pedal, close his eyes, and take one had off. He said to me today, "I am really coming along now on my bike riding."

Another One??

So just when I get around to posting about tooth #4-top left, tooth #5 -top right falls out! We went to paint pottery on June 29th while Zach went to see "ratatooee" with some friends and it fell out while we were picking out our pottery! It had really been hanging by a thread for awhile. You can already see the adult tooth on the right side which is in line with the way they came in as baby teeth, so my previuos post was wrong, but the adult teeth are actually coming in the same as the baby teeth.
And before I could even post this #6 bottom right right fell out!!!!!!
She was so excited because this happened at 10:00pm last night and she was more than happy to have to get out of bed to tell us. And she had 2 teeth for that delinquent tooth fairy who hadn't even brought $ for #5 yet. So imagine our surprise when Mikayla got $5 for both teeth this morning.
She also had her birthday party on the 25th. More pics coming soon!
And Zach took off his training wheels!! He still can't ride it yet, but he is sooooooo close. As of last night he said he quits!
