Be Mine~

We got this balloon for Mikayla for Valentine's and Landen was simultaneously fascinated and tormented by it. He wasn't too thrilled when I sat him by it.
Daddy made dairy-free heart pancakes for us for Valentine's. It was very sweet of him to think of me as I am still allergic to dairy. Although, I think the concensus was that they were more like a slightly sweet tortilla.
I heart roses!
Two boys I love dearly!
I just love how he crosses his feet!
I couldn't resist these jammies. They are size 18 months, yikes!
You can really see tooth #7 in this one.
The kids made sweet cards for Landen and he just lit up everytime we would hand him a card, like he knew it was for him.
This is the one Mikayla made for Landen.
...you're the cutest baby ever and I love you.

It was a very heartfelt day overall, including the ultimate act of true love by Jeff. Poor Mikayla got very carsick after having some pineapple at wholefooods. Let's just say mommy had to go nurse Landen so she couldn't help with the clean-up and daddy's car might never be the same.

January Recap~

Feels like I missed a lot of events from January due to sickness and teething and nursing around the clock for what seemed like days. There was a lot of fun , too, and I don't want to forget it! So here is a very random recap. You can tell when Landen is getting another tooth because he sticks his tongue out a lot.
He loves the puzzle he got for Christmas and is very good at taking the pieces off. I am amazed how he can grab those little red knobs with his pincer grasp. His fave to chew on is the snake. They all make sounds and he loves the elephant. He also loves to dump out all the pieces and just play with the board.
Mikayla changes her earrings every morning. I just love to see her express her creativity through her jewelry and clothes.
Landen and I got to go to Zach's explorers extravaganza. Do you think an egg can fit thru the neck of a glass bottle?
If you put a lit match inside and then put the egg on top it will! Very cool. The teacher talked a lot about heat and pressure and why that happens and Landen listened intently the whole time. Zach played with the egg shells the whole time. We loved being there to see some of what brobro does at school.
Not the greatest picture, but I love it.
Then they got to make vanilla ice cream by hand!
Yum!
Someone is practicing getting up on all fours. Yikes!
Zachary said he had to wear his apron to eat his ribs, because it would be "dreadful and horrid" to get sauce on his Colts jersey.
Just more Landen cuteness.
He weighs 21 lbs. now.
January 27th Landen got tooth #7 and January 26th Zachary lost tooth #7.
He just went in to the bathroom and pulled it out all by himself!
Very serious about playing with mommy's camera strap. This is our sunny window where we hang out on cold days.
Zachary and Mikayla did hoopsters at school this winter and Zachary definitely reminds me of his Papa, or I guess pictures I have seen of his Papa playing h.s. b-ball. At his last game he made a three point shot! We were all pretty stunned.
Mikayla is great at guarding!
We had a few snow days which led to some baking.
I walked out of the room for a second and he went from sitting to his tummy.
Got just a bit of snow.

Finally decided to like bananas again!

Cheering for the Colts even though Daddy is a Steelers fan.

Mornings~

This morning when I dropped the kids off at school, Landen just cried and cried, he was so sad when they hopped out of the van. On Tuesday he fussed a bit when they got out, but today he was crushed as soon as they started to unbuckle. I knew this day would come, but I didn't expect it so soon. Poor little guy just loves his sis sis and bro bro so much. He has been staying awake in the car the last couple of months to "talk" to them on the way to school, then would fall asleep after they got out. Also, this week he started saying "Hi!!" to them when we pick them up from school. He also said, "Hiya dada," yesterday when Jeff came home from work. One of my biggest concerns at the start of the school year was how he would handle getting up and taking the kids to school. He is very sleepy in the mornings and for the first couple months he would amazingly just sleep through the whole process. The last few weeks he will stay awake until we are almost home and then has easily gone back to sleep in his crib. We'll see how long that lasts, but I am amazed at how great he has done with being scooped out of his cozy, warm slumber every morning. God really answered my prayers in this area and I couldn't be more grateful. I am still curious to see how this will play out over the next 3 months and I hope he won't continue to be so sad to see them leave every morning.

I'm addicted~

I can't stop taking pictures of this adorable little sweetheart and all his cute expressions. And I am slightly obsessed with this blue wall.
I can't resist babies in pajamas.

I'm totally smitten with these chubby cheeks, or rather, kissing these cheeks.
"Seriously Momma, I think that's enough."
"Oh wait! I am not done with my cuteness."

Be very still and maybe she will go away.
I forgot, I am addicted to my Momma, too!
