Mikayla got invited to a horseback riding birthday party and after watching tentatively and begging for me to take her home she decided to ride with one of her best friends.
All was fine and dandy until a balloon popped right next to her horse and he tried to buck Mikayla and her friend off TWICE!! Only by God's grace did they not fall off (she squeezed her friend pretty tightly)and the handler was very experienced and handled it just right. Mikayla quickly got off that horse and we were outta there!!
I am just so proud of her for trying despite her fears. She has really gotten over a lot of them this past year.
Zach just loved it of course and thought it was hilarious that the horses just poop and then they just put a little dirt over it and move on.

Here are some of the said fears she has overcome~
She actually got her picture taken with Santa!!! This is truly a Christmas miracle. Her fear of crazy singing stuffed animals. Her fear of rolling over the bar and the balance beam.Alas, she is still afraid of tappan yaki.=(And flaming cheese, for the record. No Greek or Japanese food for us!
