For Memorial Day weekend we decided last minute to drive south for three hours and spend a couple days in Santa Claus Indiana. It was so much fun! For $30 you got into both Holiday World and Splashin' Safari! All drinks were free and the food was cheap and yummy! We had a blast!!
They had a mix of Christmas and Christian music playing all day!
Every area of the park had it's own holiday theme like Christmas or Thanksgiving or Halloween.
Mikayla was a little bit weary of the rides, but ended up having lots of fun.
In the pool at the hotel
This was a very rural part of Indiana, so the food choices around the hotel were limited, but look here!! Frog legs delivered directly to our hotel room!
And Fiddlers, which I think was fried Catfish. Every restaturant had that, too.
Zachary wanted to ride everything and even jumped on a kiddie roller coaster by himself. At the last minute I caught him and rode with him. Good thing because even though it was small it was very fast and very bumpy and after one time around he was begging to get off. Zachary has this thing about not listening and running off when he gets really over tired. That's what happened when we were in the kids area and he ran over to the roller coaster line.
