Day Three~Hollywood Studios

Which apparently used to be MGM. As soon as we walked thru the gates the HSM show started right in front of us. The kids were mesmerized because this was the one thing they were most looking forward to seeing. Although, I think they were a little disappointed that the actors weren't the ones from the movie.

I love these guys from the muppet show.

Only Mikayla wanted to meet Handy Manny.

Seeing Mickey was the highlight for both of them. It's the only character that I think they really cared about seeing and we kind of met him without planning it. If you go to the animation show, afterward they send you to a room with characters in it.

I still can't get the best pics to rotate on the blog, but you get the idea.

Mikayla still remembers that Minnie blew her a kiss. I remember she talked about it the whole day. Even then they only cared about seeing Mickey and Minnie. They were 2yrs. and 31/2 yrs. old then.

Ratatoille Set

The kids answered questions to see what disney character they are most like and Mikayla's was Ariel. Some of her answers were questionable but she thought it was very cool.

They didn't want to stand in line to meet the Incredibles, but they walked by us on the way to their break and with my new fast camera I was actually able to catch it.

Had to get Mickey Ears! Hip Hop Mikayla got Minnie's strawberry bar.

So precious!!

They loved the parade! My camera automatically rotates the pics and so does the computer, so I am blaming blogger!

Really cool stunt show! Mikayla was pretty mad we went, but there were some parts she thought were amazing. We never made it to Indiana Jones so this was daddy's consolation show.

What a difference four years makes!

March 2004 March 2008
Jungle Cruise
Pixie dust was falling from the castle in the shapes of pumpkin carriages and castles.

Four years ago they both refused to go on Dumbo and this time it still took some convincing, but they loved it!

More Magic Kingdom~

These ladies came in during our lunch(at Main street cafe) to do a little "show" and they kept singing in loud obnoxious operatic voices. For the rest of the day Mikayla kept calling them the destroyers of lunch. Actually last time we were at Disney we ate here and since we had a reservation we got chosen to have our picture taken with one of the ladies and she held her hand out and in the final picture Tinkerbell was on her hand! We got the picture free and a free dessert! We lost the picture and the kids were not impressed with the noisy ladies four years ago either. But it was a fun memory!

Zach loved Pirates of the carribean, but I don't think Mikayla opened her eyes once the whole time. Not even to look at the hairy pirate leg.

Zach watched the original Swiss family robinson movie a few weeks ago and loved it, so he had a great time walking around the tree house! Mikayla is afraid of heights and did not like it one bit.

Day two~

Buzz light year ride was their absolute favorite!! I think we rode it three times. I was really surprised Mikayla liked it, she even kept spinning our car around in circles!

Tea cups were another favorite. The kids made sure we spun around as fast as possible the whole time. It was definitely one of the highlights of the day!

Disney!

So since we just wanted to go someplace warm we thought why not have a disney experience for the kids to enjoy. So we took a quick trip to Orlando. The kids just had to test the water at the hotel pool. Then we went straight to Downtown Disney for dinner at Captain Jack's restaurant. Oops again. I'll get it right soon.
Stitch spit on Zach.

Then to Legoland. That serpent is made entirely out of legos!
This one's for Grammie!
Then we went back to the hotel and swam for a little before trying to get some rest for our next day of fun!
