So excited to finally go to the Legoland that's actually in Schaumburg, IL. The giraffe is kissing his head!
He wasn't all that excited to get his picture taken. I think there was a lot of build up to this day and all he could think about was buying a new lego set.
Mikayla was more than happy to pose for pictures.
I am not sure if it was because we were still on an American Girl high, but Legoland was kind of a let down. Maybe he would have enjoyed it when he was younger? I don't know what it was, but none of us were impressed. The rides were slow and the shows were not super exciting. The Lego store was pretty picked over and so he didn't even end up buying anything. Overall, I think he had a good time though.
There was a show where the lady kept giving high fives to the kids in the group and now Landen loves to give high fives. So cute!

Zach tried real hard to spend his $$ at Legoland and grandma was tempted to pitch in but when he decided that he could get something better for less at Walmart or Target, grandma puffed with pride. Lessons in economics can't start too soon. Mikayla kept me laughing with her many characters with her scarf. I love your silly side giggle that gets you going so hard you can't even talk! Finding humor in anything is one of my favorite things to do in life.(only I have to run to the bathroom) and then Landen's high- fiving all weekend was an absolute delight. He looks at you with his sweet eyes while reaching out his little hand. No words needed, that little face communicates illions! What a fun, fun, too short, fun weekend. Come again soon!
