Zachary's First Day of Kindergarten!

My other baby starts Kindergarten!

What a big boy!!

He was a little nervous and I had to stay a little while but he took a deep breath and gave me a hug and kiss and sat down. When I picked him up he said he had a great day!!

I was feeling kind of sad after I dropped him off, but when I came home I found this in his room and I couldn't help but be filled with joy! He does the sweetest things. This is Scruffie and Jack(his new webkin) all tucked in for the day.

He even made his bed hoping to get something from house fairy! This boy has been bringing joy into our lives since he was born. We always find ourselves using the word joy when we talk about him.

Mikayla's First Day of Second Grade!!

She had a great first day and had lots of old friends in her class and she loves her teacher!

Mikayla's Swimming!

She just started doing it when we got back from WI. She took off her floaties and realized she could float with out them and then she just started moving her arms and legs. This is the same girl who cried all summer at swim lessons! She just did it on her own terms, I guess. She is now mastering the underwater handstand and tea parties. What a great summer of firsts it has been for her! She starts 2nd grade tomorrow and I can hardly believe it. She is very excited and we met her teacher last week and she is wonderful! We have heard lots of great things about her. God has truly blessed us again with outstanding teachers.
