5 weeks~

Well he's actually 9 weeks now, but here is 5 weeks old. I will catch up! The kids started school today so hopefully I will have some more time to blog, although I should be napping right now like Landen is!

Bwess ou baby! That's how we say it here. I think I got that from my big sis, Heidi. I'm bored with these photo shoots mommy!

Trying so hard to not look at me, he is starting to get annoyed with the camera just like his sissy.

He really is such a sweetheart. Having usually one 5 hour stretch at night between feedings, which means 4 hours sleep for momma. Growing out of his newborn clothes and diapers quickly.

4th of July & Happy One Month Landen!

It ended up raining on the 4th here, so no outside pictures in their cute outfits. No one wanted thier picture taken anyway and Landen's romper was miles too big. He is following Mikayla's growth track more than Zachary's. So this is just because Mommy made us!Around 4 weeks Landen started smiling and talking to us, but I kind of didn't think it was real until he did it at his 1 month check-up for the Dr. and she said he was really responding and mimicking! She said he was a very social baby and was doing this very early which probably means he will talk early. May have something to do with the fact that as soon as his eyes open he has someone right there talking to him and giving him LOTS of attention! He weighed 10 lbs. 9 ozs. and was 21 3/4 inches.

He jumped from the 25%ile to the 75th!! Way to grow little man!

Me and my sweet little guy! He's been having some 4-5 hour stretches between feedings at night. Still only means 3 or so hours of sleep for mommy after I get him to sleep, but sometimes even 3 hours of sleep seems great!Love my three Thiesens!!!

Mikayla's Birthday Party~

On July 3rd Mikayla got to invite a couple friends to go paint pottery and go to Red Robin for dinner. We told her we couldn't do a big party with friends this year because of Landen, but that we could a smaller party and I think she had just as much fun. She was able to hang out with 2 of her best buds( one was on vacation) and they had a blast.

Landen slept until we woke him up to try to do handprints of our three kids. He screamed and wouldn't open his hand so we ended up doing his footprint instead and it turned out really cute! I'll have to post a pic of the finished product.

Three Thiesens~

Not happy I took his outfit off. He does cry sometimes.
First bottle at 3.5 weeks! He did great! Drank the whole thing for daddy. He is such a daddy's boy. I was afraid he would never want to nurse again after this, but of course he did. I am sure he would prefer daddy feed him all the time.

Landen's First Parade!

The kids had fun at the Freedom Festival again with Daddy and G & G Thiesen while Landen and I stayed at home, but we met up with them for the parade.

Birthday Scarf~June 26th

I am really behind in posting pics of the new boy since he is already 5 weeks old now, but here are some from 2.5 (almost 3) weeks anyway. I just can't skip them! It's like I can imagine what he will look like when he really starts smiling at us.

Landen is definitely long and lean like his sissy at this age. He eats about every 3 hours, which I think is amazing. I've heard about babies that go that long but I've never had one and it's much better than every 2 hours like Zach.
I really hope his beautiful eyes stay blue!
