Thanksgiving in Reedley~

Friday we were able to go to Reedley to celebrate with the Thiesens. We had lots more yummy food and the boys enjoyed seeing the chickens!
Zach found some eggs and got to do some farm chores.
He is a farmer at heart, Mikayla however wanted nothing to do with any of it! Which is why she's not in any of the pictures.
Landen wasn't scared at all!

We had another great day and are so thankful for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving 2011~

We spent Thanksgiving day at my Dad's house in Bakersfield with all the Hierlmeier's. My dad cooked the turkey as usual plus most of the sides. It was delicious and the secret ingredient in the stuffing this year was cherries! We always take pics with the turkey.

Papa and the three Thiesens!
Me and my Dad
( I just have to say it. I am not pregnant, just bloated!)
Sweet Jake and Grammie!
My handsome man, Landen, and Mikayla.
Mikayla made the pumpkin muffins this year!
My mom, My niece Natalie, Her boyfriend Kevin, and my cousin Rochelle
Zach always loves to play b-ball with the cousins.
I had the privilege of practicing my photography skills to take some pictures for my Dad's book that is being published!
All the grandkids, plus 2 cousins
My big sis Nikki, niece Courtney, step-mom RuthAnn, and Landen.
Landen had a blast playing with Austin. He really tired Austin out, as well as Cameron and Chase. He had them running around the house playing cars and garage all afternoon!

We are so thankful for family and being able to see them more often!
Pictures of our adventures with the Thiesens coming soon!

1 Year~

Can't believe it, but November 10th marked one year since we moved back to California.
This is the kids in the rental van after landing at LAX.
Crazy how fast a year can seem to go by. A lot has happened in just a year. We moved into a house in February. The kids started new schools. Landen turned two and started talking in sentences. Zach got glasses and Mikayla got braces. At times we miss Indiana, the fall colors and the friends. The kids miss their school. But overall, we are very happy here and grateful for all that we have. I think it took the whole year, but this is finally "home."

Pumpkin Carving~

This first picture has nothing to do with pumpkins, it's just so cute!
Zach was the only one who wanted to carve this year. He made a drawing and then gave daddy instructions on what he wanted and they did it together.
Zach loved the guts, but Landen wanted nothing to do with them.
Such a little cutie pie!
My handsome man!
Landen decorated his pumpkin with stickers. He really loves rainbows right now.
So proud of his work!
I think Zach carved most of it by himself this year, so daddy got off easy.

Love the mustache and jaggedy teeth!

Hapoween!

This year we had a valley girl(I think I was the same thing at that age), Tony Logano (I think??), and the cutest little chef ever!

Zach ran off with his neighbor friend and Landen had a blast going trick or treating with his sissy!
He learned very quickly if you hold out your bucket you get candy! He would say trick or treat while we were walking around, but not when we got up to the door.
The whole time Landen kept yelling, "Hapoween!!" It was so cute! He was running from house to house and had the best time. He really got the idea this year and insisted on carrying his bucket even when it got heavy.
The kids got way too much candy, the weather was slightly cool, and everyone had a great time, so I think it was a success!
