Sick Chicks~

Pretty sure h1n1 is making it's way thru our house. Zach had it bad the last 2 days. Jeff and I have had sore throats, but Oil of Oregano has helped us not be too miserable. Baby is fussy, but that could be many things. He had shots this week and has 2 teeth coming up. Mikayla is completely fine, go figure. Pray we are all better soon!

Love and Ears~

I know. I have a problem with coming up with clever titles.

None the less, there is some serious love between these two siblings.
Just so precious!
His favorite napping spot. He sucks his left thumb just like his sissy did.
~15 weeks old~

At first she wanted to go on the last day of 3rd grade, then her birthday, but she was too worried that it would hurt. Finally she announced in early September she was ready!She didn't want me to leave her side. I kept reassuring her that they weren't going to just pounce on her, they would give her some notice.

Before
DuringAfterBeautiful turquoise flowers, of course!
As soon as the lady pierced the first ear she said, "That didn't even hurt!" She really had very little pain afterward either. She wished she would have done it sooner, but Mama is glad she waited. I can only handle a little bit of growing up at a time! September 20th, 2009
Landen was there too, sleeping in the stroller, of course.

So Big!

I told Mikayla to help him sit up, but this wasn't exactly what I had in mind. At first he wasn't so sure what to think!But then he liked it!He had never done that with sis before.

Our Friday Night Lights~

Zach played flag football this year for his school league and they got to play a game at the half-time of a varsity game. He even got his name announced! Landen did such a great job being out late and even took a nap on Daddy's shoulder. He is just so fast and has such long legs he usually would get out farther than any of the kids could throw.But he had a blast!! Celebrating a good play with one of his best buds. This was after one of those manly chest bump things???!!!Jeff and I were reminicsing all night about going out on our (second) first date to the South high football game 17 years ago. He wore a rugby shirt and felt dumb because it ended up not being cold. I wore red jeans and felt dumb for wearing RED JEANS. In my defense, I think they were my sister's. So wish I had a picture of that!

Of course, a couple of cute pics of Landen, 14 weeks then.

Everyday when I put him in his carseat to go get the kids from school he gives me big grins!

~~~
It's like the exact same picture 10 weeks later and I didn't even try(minus the bird poop). I just said go sit out on the deck. Even Mikayla's hair is in her face again.I think this is the one I used as the header for awhile.
Now for some brotherly love. Every day when we go pick the kids up at school Landen squeals when Zach says hi to him. I think someone is going to have a little shadow soon! Everyone always says they think Landen looks like Zach.
This is Landen's "I am done with pictures" face.
Mikayla got a hair cut and the lady used the straight iron and Mikayla loved it!
Zach wanted to take a pic of me too, he really likes taking pictures!
Landen~still 13 weeks here, almost 14 weeks. I am still a month behind on everything. Someday I'll catch up. For now I am happily distracted by this little cutie!
State Fair!
Daddy didn't really want Landen to go to the fair as he was only about 9 weeks old at the time, so I left some milk for Landen and took the big kids! This was actually in late August, but I forgot these pics were on my old camera. New this year(to us anyway)was the Lego area, which of course was a big hit. Lego competition
Mikayla made a strawberry shortcake and Zach made a chocolate cake.
It's supposed to be a strawberry, the easiest, fastest thing I could make.
Mikayla did such a great job on the climbing wall. She was very brave this day.
Second time around he put his hands up!
Mikayla loves the Super Slide!!
Considering she refused to go on the rollercoaster, it's surprising how much she enjoyed it and Zach seemed a little freaked. He said he liked it but then looked like he was holding back tears.
They had a fun new area where you could get your picture taken doing different sports and I think it turned out to be the favorite thing of the day.
Surfin'
They both won a stuffed animal for Landen. So sweet!
