Mikayla's Birthday Party~

On July 3rd Mikayla got to invite a couple friends to go paint pottery and go to Red Robin for dinner. We told her we couldn't do a big party with friends this year because of Landen, but that we could a smaller party and I think she had just as much fun. She was able to hang out with 2 of her best buds( one was on vacation) and they had a blast.

Landen slept until we woke him up to try to do handprints of our three kids. He screamed and wouldn't open his hand so we ended up doing his footprint instead and it turned out really cute! I'll have to post a pic of the finished product.

They absolutely devoured it and had chocolate all over themselves when they were done.

Three Thiesens~

Not happy I took his outfit off. He does cry sometimes.
First bottle at 3.5 weeks! He did great! Drank the whole thing for daddy. He is such a daddy's boy. I was afraid he would never want to nurse again after this, but of course he did. I am sure he would prefer daddy feed him all the time.

Landen's First Parade!

The kids had fun at the Freedom Festival again with Daddy and G & G Thiesen while Landen and I stayed at home, but we met up with them for the parade.

They stood out front and got tons of candy. I think they enjoyed that more than the parade.

Birthday Scarf~June 26th

I am really behind in posting pics of the new boy since he is already 5 weeks old now, but here are some from 2.5 (almost 3) weeks anyway. I just can't skip them! It's like I can imagine what he will look like when he really starts smiling at us.

Landen is definitely long and lean like his sissy at this age. He eats about every 3 hours, which I think is amazing. I've heard about babies that go that long but I've never had one and it's much better than every 2 hours like Zach.
I really hope his beautiful eyes stay blue!

Here's what happened between 6 days and Mikayla's birthday.

First outing at 1 week old to Red Robin for mommy's birthday.First dr.'s appt. on June 18th. He weighed 7lbs. 14 oz.!! Already past his birth weight, good job Landen!

I love his precious shoulders!

His toes always seem to make their way out of his blankies.

Such a funny guy. Always doing something with his arms and hands.

He has practically no eye lashes or eyebrows.

A little fawn was running around our yard one afternoon. So cute!
