Thankful

Mikayla's first piano Recital. Can't seem to download the video, but I'll keep trying. She did wonderfully! Didn't want her pic taken though! Thankful for a wonderful Thanksgiving in Chicago. Lots of baking and yummy food to eat and family to visit with.

Christmas Lists and a Makeover!

Because who doesn't love a good makeover!?!?

I finally got around to painting Zachary's room. I did Mikayla's at the beginning of the summer(purple and green Tinkerbell) and he has been begging me ever since. With the weather getting so cold I finally decided it had to be done now! So here it is, the before and after.



He still loves puppies, but he also wants spider-man and Cars and baseball stuff on his walls. It's just an all boy room I guess.

And the American Girl Christmas catalog came in the mail, which Mikayla poured over and chose a few items for her Christmas list, then painstakingly wrote out each one. Actually she did it pretty fast, but still, all that work!

Zachary's list consists of all things webkinz. Apparently they all need clothes, the poor naked animals. And, of course, he likes transformers. They really want for nothing, but just fyi, they have both grown about 2 inches in the last 6 months and sizes are now-Mikayla-8 in pants,9 in tops-Zach-7 for everything.

Needless to say, we've had a few leaves fall in our yard this Fall.Riding bikes through them was first priority.
